HOLY F**K

I thought it would be beneficial to research into the background of the artist who created the track.

I struggled to find it on the internet with just the track name so I used an app on my phone to find it..

From this I got the artist so was much easier to research into the band/song more.

Holy Fuck are a Canadian electronica band from Toronto. They were a part of Dependent Music, a music label and artist collective that began in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia in 2004 until its closing. They are now a part of the Young Turks label.

The band uses live instrumentation and miscellaneous instruments and non-instruments (including a 35 mm film synchronizer, toy keyboards and toy phaser guns) to achieve electronic-sounding effects without the use of laptops or programmed backing tracks. According to Pitchfork Media, "The band was formed with the intent of creating the equivalent of modern electronic music without actually using the techniques—looping, splicing, programming and the like—of that music."

I found the track on youtube which had a link to their website..

On here there's quite a lot of art, on the website itself and some quite iconic images on their merchandise. I think it would be beneficial to develop ideas based on these to find inspiration.

This is one of the most iconic images they tend to have on most merchandise..
