I was having a flick through different ways of presenting animation and the idea of morph sprung to mind. So I had a brief look through youtube at different morph animations/artists on there.
This traditional animation was done using blue pencil on a light box - about two days of nonstop work drawing frame after frame. Total frame count was around 200.
The animation is intended to represent Singapore and make the different aspects morph into each other.
This clip really amazes me. The patience that must have gone into each frame is astonishing. It took me a while to work out how it was created and I'm still a little unsure but I think I have the general idea.
This one has used very simple drawings yet when connected to gether to created the morph it becomes really complex and quite impressive.
